Stepping into Blogland

I have been enjoying viewing all the decor blogs for quite some time and I finally decided to join all of you. Although our new house has a small floor plan, your decorating ideas and creativity have shown me there are no limits to what you can do with a small space. The design ideas in blogland are unlike anything I have seen and I am continually inspired by all of  your projects. There is a lot of beauty in simplicity and I  will be creating craft projects that will reflect that and help me achieve that frenchy farmhouse look that I love.  I will also be sharing my design dilemmas as well as I attempt to decorate and achieve a balance in our new home. Because we live in the PNW I will also be sharing the  beauty of our scenic region. I'm not a big DIYer right now, but I do have an interest in papercrafts, vintage finds and small projects that I can transform into the french farmhouse style.

Since I have been admiring the blogs for awhile now I have learned so much. When I first saw the word cloche on a  design blog I thought they were talking about hats. Well now I know better and since this is my first post I am taking small steps. I have admired Marty's cloches and blog for some time so I have decided to join Marty @ astrollthrulife.net for her cloche party.

Shells are one of my favorite things to put in cloches

Even though this pic is rather dark I really like the shadows on the cloches and from the fence reflected on the grass

I really enjoy the mini cloches

This image is a little dark but I wanted to add my bird cloche

Cloches on the windowsill. Can you tell I really like cloches?

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you will take time to leave me a comment!
Diane
